The PB&J Fund partners with the Boys and Girls Club of Charlottesville/Albemarle to host and fund a cooking class every week with middle- to high-school age club-goers. The class is designed to teach basic cooking skills and foster culinary and nutritional interest.

Potluck and Packs is a parent-supported school community pot luck dinner on site at Charlottesville City Schools' Johnson Elementary and Clark Elementary. The event is meant to support the Federal Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program Grant (FFVP)** that both schools currently receive. It does so by including the following three components:
**The Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program is a federal grant for public schools that have over 50% free or reduced lunch are eligible to apply for; the purpose of the grant is to introduce fresh produce to young children.
The PB&J Fund partners with the Children, Youth and Family Services (CYFS) Literacy Van, which travels to Charlottesville and Albemarle housing communities and works on early literacy and development with parents and their pre-school children, to provide lunch to participants. The PB&J Fund creates a "sandwich bar" for parents to eat lunch with their preschooler after the day's lesson; the program operates weekly at Southwood, Park's Edge, and Blue Ridge Commons.
The PB&J Fund provides the school nurses at all Charlottesville City schools with a flexible spending grant to have snacks available to students seeking supplemental food during the school day.
